Well, after 3 days (4 if you count the press conferences), E3 is finally over. To me, it was easily the best E3 ever. I know everyone says it every year, but this time I really mean it. 3 new consoles were announced, PS3 being the best :P. A slew of new games were shown with my Game of E3 being either We Love Katamari or Killzone 2. The Xbox 360 was okay, but it felt like they were trying to lobotomize you with all the new features. And let's not forget the planted audience. Nintendo was average really. The only thing that kept their side of E3 exciting was Zelda: Twilight Princess. Other than that, well, it was pretty disapointing. Sure they announced the Revolution, but they didn't show any games for it, or the controller for that matter. What the f*** is up with that?? The Gameboy Micro is kinda ridiculous, but in a good way. It won't revolutionize the handheld market, since it's basically a GBA only like 5 times smaller, but if they sell it at, say, 50$, maybe I can see the use for it. The Big 3 were definelty all good, but the games were what stood out. PS2 has some awesome games coming out like We Love Katamari, SOCOM III, Soul Calibur 3, Shadow of the Colossus and many others, the XBox on the other hand, no first-party games? Come one! Sure Conker is 1st-Party, but it's just a remake of the N64 version. Boo. The GameCube really only had Zelda that excited me. That game looks great, on the other hand, the new Mario games they are coming out with, meh, I mean, honestly, to me, Mario's dead. They are just exploiting the liscence right now, which sucks. I mean like, Mario Baseball? OOH! THAT LOOKS GREAT! Now I can get Bowser as the Umpire! So if I get 3 strikes, he'll capture 3rd Fieldman Princess Peach! Whopee! And let's not forget Mario Soccer! That's going to be fun! Now I can play the dumbest sport with the dumbest plumber! Wicked! Come on Nintendo, you can do better than this. The spotlight though definetly goes to the PS3. Killzone 2 was easily the best looking game at the show. I-8 looks insane, MGS4's trailer was laugh-out-loud funny and MotorStorm looks hella fun. Of course Devil May Cry 4 is cool, and Madden 06 looks even better, although I hate Madden games, too tedious, and I hate playing defense all the time. The best though was all the Tech Demos they did for the PS3. They really showed off what the PS3 was capable of. I'm surprised Microsoft didn't do the same. You know, show off what the system is really capable of. I mean, would it of killed Jay Allard to show off a little rubber ducky in a bathtub? Probably. I mean, imagine the costs! Microsoft really couldn't pay for that!

Best First-Person Shooter: Unreal Tournament 2007
Best Real-Time Strategy Game: Age of Empires 3
Best Fighting Game: Soul Calibur 3
Best Platformer: Ratchet and Clank: Deadlocked
Best Online Game: SOCOM 3
Game of E3: Killzone 2
Biggest Disapointment of E3: Perfect Dark Zero (because it wasn't even there)
Worst Game of E3: Gundam World [PS3] (I'm sorry, but that game just looked weak. WEAK!)
